I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have it all figured out. I strive to create a space that feels collaborative, respectful, and supportive — where you feel understood and empowered to move toward the life you want.
Many of the adults I work with are carrying stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, or the quiet exhaustion that can come from trying to hold everything together for too long. Others are navigating OCD, neurodivergence, life transitions, identity exploration, or feeling misunderstood in relationships, school, work, or everyday life.
My work is grounded in curiosity, connection, and the belief that healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported.
Over the years, I have worked extensively within school and community mental health settings supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, relational, and nervous system needs. This experience has shaped a flexible and individualized approach that recognizes that no two people experience the world in exactly the same way.
I work with many individuals who have spent years masking, overthinking, people-pleasing, or trying to meet expectations while quietly struggling underneath. For neurodivergent individuals, therapy may involve untangling identity from survival strategies, making sense of sensory and emotional experiences, rebuilding self-trust, and creating ways of living that feel more sustainable and authentic. I support ADHD and Autistic individuals from a neurodiversity-affirming lens that values difference rather than viewing it as something that needs to be fixed.
I also support children and teens experiencing anxiety, school stress, emotional overwhelm, friendship challenges, self-esteem difficulties, and life transitions. I believe behaviour is communication and aim to create a space where young people feel emotionally safe, respected, and understood.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), narrative therapy, neuro-relational approaches, polyvagal-informed practices, and strengths-based interventions. My work is also shaped by neurodiversity-affirming, disability-informed, and social justice-oriented perspectives.
At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is not about becoming a different person. It is about understanding yourself more fully, caring for your nervous system with compassion, and creating space to live in ways that feel more connected, authentic, and sustainable.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I strive to create a space where you feel welcomed, understood, and never alone in what you are carrying.
Therapy with me is structured enough to create change — but flexible enough to honour your nervous system while moving at a pace that feels manageable.

Beyond the Therapy Room
I was born and raised in Nova Scotia and am proud to call Nova Scotia home. I have a deep connection to the ocean and often find myself returning to it for a walk, a quiet moment to think, or simply a reminder to slow down and breathe.
Outside of therapy, you'll often find me spending time with my husband and our two cats, caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants, browsing local thrift stores in search of hidden treasures, or baking cookies to share with family and friends.
I'm someone who genuinely loves learning. Whether it's exploring a new therapy approach, reading a book, listening to a podcast, practicing my French, or diving into a fascinating piece of history, I'm always curious and looking for opportunities to grow.
While I enjoy meaningful conversations, I also appreciate humour and the small moments that bring joy to everyday life. Much to the delight (or occasional annoyance) of my family and friends, I am known for regularly sharing cat memes that I find far too entertaining not to pass along. I believe that small things matter. A walk outside, a favourite book, time with a pet, a laugh with someone you care about, or a moment by the ocean can sometimes make a bigger difference than we realize.
Through both my professional work and life experience, I understand how exhausting anxiety, perfectionism, intrusive thoughts, and self-doubt can be. While I take my work seriously, I don't take myself too seriously. Life can be hard enough without feeling like you need to be perfectly polished all the time.
